MIGRIS, at simple view, can be a strange being, something that looks like a Martian, from Venus or Saturn, a being of another planet. In fact it is called an Alien, someone strange. In this world there are many MIGRIS that wonder throughout, but their race is not in danger of extinction, on the contrary, they are abundant and they expand quickly and continuously.
The phenomenon of MIGRATONIUS has its roots in the remote times of humanity and although you might not believe it, but MIGRIS is familiar with the species HOMO SAPIENS. No one truly knows where this species started, but in what the majority of scholars do coincide is that MIGRIS is the product of different factors that can be mentioned such as poverty and wealth. After the apparition of the Homo sapiens on earth the human species has lived in constant displacement form one place to another. It would be very pretentious to associate the term Immigration with one of our ancestors. Although it serves as examples of their displacement (with or without papers, with or without borderlines and more so, maybe have the consciousness of their mobilization). Millions of years later, human beings have created new ways to group themselves in society, constructing cities and new civilizations, and they continue with their impulses of displacement. According to the latest data about the phenomenon, MIGRATONIUS, in the last 255 years since 1,750 to 2,005 more than 350 million people have left their country of origin and have become international immigrants. Between 1,750 and 1,940 the calculated number is at 127 million with a clear preponderance of European immigrants (63% world wide). Furthermore in the second half of the twentieth century international immigrants have become the main originators of other continents[1]. Migris is the nickname that has been given to MIGRATON MIGRANTE but who is He or She. Migraton Migrante has a name and last name and is each one of the Immigrants in general, but specially the Latin Americans, to which there is so much aberration; that have arrived to different lands in search of a better future for their families.
It is not until the advancement in the field of transportation and communication that allowed the displacement of large masses of Population with many kilometers in distance, the migration movements have been configured like social phenomenons of first magnitude. But the communication revolution has not been its only determinate; factors of historic influence have allowed the territorial transvase of grand contingences of the population. Including the growing world interdependency, the fruit of the ascending process of modernization, it has made it possible for a mayor permeability of national borderlines, allowing with it the constant flow of people, capitals, ideas, values, knowledge, etc. the inequality of the demographic development, the dynamics of an expanding world economy, international political conditions are others of many unchained factors of the migratory process. We have assisted them for more than a century, these complex and multidimensional facts with implications that branch out to the depths of each individual or collective lives.
Because it is a complex phenomenon with multiple stages. The migratory movements have analyzed it from different disciplines of knowledge. Only in psychology, (Kubat and Hoffmann-Nowotny), exists a strong current of publications that cover almost all aspects of immigration, explaining this phenomenon from its causes and evaluating its impact on social structure, as much from the zones that transmit out as the receptive one. Being that it deals with an extensive process in time and space, and the elements implied are whole collectively as concrete individuals; the migratory movement is rarely approached in its totality. Taking advantage of its processive nature, migration has been separated into different stages presenting each one with specific problems. On the other hand there is criteria that breaks down the phenomenon in analytical units that are to the discuss of any investigator, and so with the concrete studies, in particular cases[2]. We can say that we have arrived to the celebration of the birth of the term MIGRATION.
